A number of bee farms are reporting they've lost a number of hives and according to Owner of Planet Bee Honey Farm, Ed Nowek, they have no explanation.
"There's still a lot unexplained losses. It would be one thing to go in there and be like these because of A or these ones died because of B, but we go in there and we don't know what's causing it. It's pretty disconcerting."
Nowek says both honeybees and native bees are dying off, and it could have something to do with the environment, pesticides, or even the weather. Source
